How can Allan Iverson not be able to pay a jeweler and $800,000 bill? Iverson earned well over $100 million dollars during his NBA career. A judge has put a lien on Allan Iverson’s bank accounts for the unpaid jewelery bill. There is so much that I could discuss in a situation like this. It is sad that over 30% of professional athletes go broke after their career.
The average NBA player is making over 5 million dollars while the average American makes about 25 thousand which means that these professional athletes make more that 225 people combined. What boggles my mind is how can these guys mess up that kind of wealth?
The following video is hilarious. Charles Barkley is calling the Atlanta Hawks game and thinks that the cameras are off. He start to blast weight watchers as being a scam. He goes on to talk about what an awful team the Atlanta Hawks are and if it was up to him that he would trade anybody on that the Atlanta Hawks to get Dwight Howard.
Charles says that he cant stand watching the Atlanta Hawks play. Barley says that weight watchers is a big scam. He says he thought that getting paid to watch basketball games was a big scam but weight watchers is an even bigger scam. You gotta love the thing that Charles Barkley says.
Here Charles Barkley talks about the ongoing NBA lockout situation. While I do understand both side, I tend to agree with the NBA, David Stern, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan and the rest of the owners. Take a look at the condition of this country today and these NBA players seem to be crying broke and want more money. The average NBA player earns 5.5 million dollars a year while the average American citizen earns 23 thousand dollars a year. If you divide 5.5 million earnings average of one NBA player to the 23 thousand dollar average of the average Americans citizen you will get 239. Yes, the average NBA player earns what 239 average Americans earn and they are crying for more money, give me a break.
Both sides are ridiculous. They are all filthy rich and they just want more. I understand the players play the game and provide the talent but the players are already overpaid as it is. It is selfish on the players part. Think about all the people that work in the stadiums that dont have jobs right now. Lets see what happens.
